Samir Sadiković, also known as Čela, a demobilized veteran of the Army of RBiH who defended this country from the aggressor from 1992 to 1995, arrived at the gathering of veterans in front of the FBiH Government building today from Bugojno. This father of three is unemployed and seriously ill, he told the Patria news agency.
His two adult sons are also unemployed, and they all live together in 28 square meters.
- Since 1995, I haven't worked nor have I received any income from the state for which I gave my health. Don't get me wrong, I would do the same again, but look, if I can't realize any rights, let them give them to my children - says Sadiković.
Today, his thoughts are in Bugojno, and he is worried about the snow that could destroy the raspberry plantations that Sadiković planted on rented land.
- Last year, I rented two dunams of land from a neighbor to try to secure a livelihood for my family. I am worried about what will happen to my plantations - Sadiković told Patria.
Otherwise, among the gathered veterans, most are those who have not managed to secure rights to a pension or other income, they live difficult lives, and most of them have impaired health.
