Bojić Sells Companies in RS Due to 'Corona Contracts' Investigation, Continues Business in Germany

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Slavko Bojić, one of the founders of IT company "MMSCODE" and owner of "Procontrol," has decided to sell his companies and completely withdraw from business in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main reason for this is the investigation led by the prosecution against him in the "corona contracts" affair.

Bojić himself confirmed this information to CAPITAL, stating that he has no trust in the domestic judiciary and has therefore decided to sell his companies here and continue his business career outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, specifically in Germany.

He has already sold his stake in the company "MMSCODE" and plans to do the same with "Procontrol."

"It is true that I sold my share, while the other co-owners remained the same. I am definitely withdrawing from business in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I no longer wish to operate in such an environment and market," Bojić said.

The main reason for this decision is the investigation conducted against him by the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office in the "corona contracts" affair, which Bojić claims is completely nonsensical.

"I did this because I am accused of signing a consortium agreement with another legal entity to participate in the market together. I have no explanation for such an accusation. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska and the prosecution clearly do not have economists in their system and have never heard of a consortium agreement, considering it a criminal offense. Can any businessman in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is accused of signing a consortium agreement, trust the judiciary and legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina?" Bojić asks.

He states that he lives between Germany and Banja Luka, has been doing business in Germany since 2001, and will continue to work there.

He added that he will respond to any calls from investigative bodies if they occur, as he believes he has not violated any laws.

"I am accused of signing a consortium agreement with the company 'Promeding,' so of course I signed it because I have the right to do so. All companies in the world have the right to do this; two or more companies can form a consortium. However, I am accused of this, and the prosecutor claims in court that it is forbidden, so I have no need and do not wish to work under such conditions. I will respond to all calls; I do not dispute any of the documents submitted by the prosecution, but there is not even a misdemeanor, let alone a criminal offense," Bojić claims.

We remind you that Slavko Bojić, who is under investigation for abuses in the "corona contracts" affair, spent five months in custody.

In addition to Bojić, the investigation also includes former director of the Institute for Public Health of Republika Srpska, Branislav Zeljković, director of the company "Promeding," Dragan Dubravac, and owner of the agency "Travel for fan," Saša Marković.

According to the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office, Zeljković secured a profit of approximately 790,000 marks for the private companies "Procontrol" and "Travel for fun," owned by the suspects Slavko Bojić and Saša Marković, thereby damaging the budget of Republika Srpska.

Bojić and Dubravac are suspected of concluding an agreement to form a consortium for the import of protective equipment and medical masks with the Public Health Institution Institute for Public Health of Republika Srpska, even though they were aware that Bojić's "Procontrol" was not registered for the trade of medical equipment, nor was it registered as a wholesale distributor of medical supplies, all with the aim of benefiting this unqualified legal entity.
