Rich program: Sarajevo Winter Festival starts on February 7

The 31st Sarajevo Winter Festival starts on February 7, 2015, and this year it is under the motto Infinity (eternity), writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, at the invitation of the organizers of the Sarajevo Winter Festival, accepted the request for UNESCO to be the patron of the XXXI Festival.

In her letter, Bokova stated that since the founding of the Sarajevo Winter Festival in 1984, it has become an important annual cultural event, and a place where artists and citizens from all over the world meet. Bokova expressed her satisfaction that UNESCO is closely connected with this long-standing initiative, because through its existence, the "Sarajevo Winter" Festival has become a symbol of creative expression, which nurtures cultural diversity and the bringing together of cultures.
