Blinken doubts Russian claims about Ukraine's attempt to kill Vladimir Putin

(Patria) - The top US diplomat has cast doubt on Russian claims that Ukraine attempted to kill Russian President Vladimir Putin with a drone strike in the very center of Moscow, almost five hundred kilometers away from the Ukrainian borders.

"We simply don't know," said Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a live interview with the American newspaper Washington Post, in which he answered various questions on different topics.

The Kremlin claims that two drones targeted Putin's residence. A video allegedly shows drones appearing in what looked like an explosion of drones over the Kremlin residence.

The US Secretary of State said that all Russian claims or accusations should be taken with a large dose of caution.
