(Patria) - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel today to meet with senior Israeli leaders, said US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, Reuters reported.
"It will be a message of solidarity and support," Miller said at a briefing.
"He, of course, wants to hear from Israel's leaders, directly from them, about the situation they are facing... about what they need and how we can best support them," he added.
Miller said Blinken will arrive in Israel on Thursday.
The US State Department said Blinken will then travel to Jordan to meet with senior officials there.
