(Patria) - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken yesterday announced aid worth over $700 million to Ukraine in the war against Russia, during a visit to Kyiv together with his British counterpart David Lammy.
- American aid includes $325 million for energy and almost $290 million in humanitarian aid - Blinken revealed at a press conference.
Blinken and Lammy arrived in Kyiv yesterday for a series of meetings with high-ranking officials of the Ukrainian government at a crucial moment in the war against Russia.
Blinken said he wants to hear directly from the president and other Ukrainian officials about Kyiv's goals in the war and what Washington can do to help achieve them.
