(Patria) - Lithuania is "playing" with drones for European money, said Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, TASS reported last night.
"They have a good teacher - Poland. To play provocations on the (Belarusian) border to tear the air, they will call, and then ask for money from Europe. There have been reports that the European Union is considering allocating more than a billion (euros) to help Lithuania combat alleged hybrid aggression by Belarus and Russia. That's why these things are being done," he said in an interview.
According to him, this money will not go to finance infrastructure or other social projects, but will be used to build concrete fences and buy weapons that the Lithuanian army does not know how to use.
"This will not compensate the people in our neighboring countries for the losses they suffer due to the broken cooperation with Belarus and Russia," he said.
