Former leader of 'Srbska čast' arrested, found with weapons and bulletproof vest

Over the weekend, Prijedor police arrested the former leader of "Srbska čast" Igor Bilbija, who was found with weapons, ammunition and a bulletproof vest, BN reported.

The police officers, together with the Gendarmerie, conducted a raid in a cafe where they found Bilbija. On that occasion, a "Češka Zbrojevka" pistol, model 100, caliber nine mm with 12 rounds of ammunition was found and seized from him.

A search of the residential property he uses revealed and seized 17 pistol rounds, 35 rifle rounds of caliber 7.62mm, automatic rifle magazines, a bulletproof vest, and other items that may serve as evidence in criminal proceedings.

– Bilbija was then arrested, and after the case is completed, a report will be submitted to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Prijedor for the criminal offense of "Illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials" – the police stated, citing the suspect's initials.

The Prijedor Police Department said that over the weekend they had intensified activities aimed at preventing criminal acts, reducing street sales of narcotics, violations in the area of public order and peace, and activities regarding compliance with the Conclusion of the Republic Headquarters for Emergency Situations.
