Former Warriors and Special Forces: About a Dozen Snipers from BiH Kill for the Mafia in Serbia and Montenegro

The armed war between two Montenegrin clans, which has been ongoing for three years due to the theft of more than 200 kilograms of cocaine in Kotor, Belgrade and Novi Sad, in which eight people were killed and four wounded, has turned into the most brutal Balkan mafia octopus, reports the news agency Patria.

For the liquidations in the fight between the two Kotor clans, paid assassins from Bosnia have been hired, on both sides.

The deadly war between the feuding Kotor gangs began at the end of 2013, when a shipment of just over 200 kilograms of cocaine, smuggled by ship from South America, disappeared in Valencia. The conflict, which turned into a war of extermination, is being waged between the Skaljari and Kavac clans. The Skaljari clan is led by the brothers Jovan and Igor Vukotić from Dobrota, close associates of Luka Bojović, while the leaders of the other group are Slobodan Kašćelan, a victim of a recent shooting in Novi Sad, and Radoje Zvicer.

- Kašćelan and his bodyguard were wounded in Novi Sad at the end of June. They were shot at by attackers on a motorcycle while in an Audi A6, who then fled. Kašćelan has recovered and is preparing revenge. The investigation being conducted in Serbia into the murders resulting from the conflict between the Kotor clans has obtained information about the attackers. Both sides have hired mercenaries from BiH. Some have been identified - says a source familiar with the investigation into these clashes in Serbia for "Blic".

The source for "Blic" says these are former warriors and members of special military and police units who have put themselves at the service of the mafia. Trained snipers, who have been hired twice in this war, are in high demand. Even people from the underworld cannot specify the amounts of money involved, but it is certain that it is tens of thousands of euros. In cash.

- The police have a list of about a dozen former professionals from BiH who kill for the mafia, i.e., for whoever pays more. There are at least as many mercenaries who work more cautiously and have not yet been discovered - says the interlocutor for "Blic".
