New Government is Important, Sarajevo Canton Still Without Budget for 2020

SARAJevo, (Patria) - After the appointment of the new KS Government and the election of the president, deputy president, and members of the Committee for Public Recognitions of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, today's session of the KS Assembly was interrupted without the adoption of the Draft Budget of KS for 2020 and the Draft Law on the Execution of the Budget.

According to Prime Minister Mario Nenadić, these items will be considered at the next session, given that the new Government needs time to review these documents in detail and make potential amendments, and the Budget should be adopted by March 12. The decision on temporary financing for the period January-March 2020 is in effect.

"We will adopt everything good from the previous Government and give it a boost, but we also have our set of measures and projects," said Nenadić.

Today's session was also supposed to consider the following items: the Draft Law on Punishing Hate Speech in KS, the Draft Decision on Granting Consent to the Financial Plan of the Public Institution Employment Service of KS, and reports of working bodies.
