Man (51) from Bihać dies after falling from a building

(Patria) - A 51-year-old man from Bihać, identified by initials P.D., died this morning around 10 a.m. after falling from a building at a construction site in Bosanskih šehida street, in the Bihać neighborhood of Ceravci.

The man sustained severe bodily injuries from the fall, from which he later died, confirmed for Radio Bihać the deputy spokesperson of the Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Interior, Ines Zulić.

- This morning around 10 a.m., the Bihać Police Station received a report from the Bihać Health Center that, during construction work on a residential building in Bosanskih šehida Street in Bihać, a male person, identified by initials P.D. from Bihać, fell from a height.

He sustained severe bodily injuries from the fall and died at the scene. A police patrol from the Bihać Police Station was dispatched to the scene, which confirmed the accuracy of the report and secured the scene until the arrival of the investigation team.

An investigation team arrived at the scene, consisting of the duty investigator from the Criminal Police Department of the Bihać Police Station and the duty prosecutor from the Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor's Office.

Other official measures and actions are being carried out regarding this incident. The investigation is ongoing, under the direct supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor's Office - said Zulić.
