Residents of Bihać and Mayor Galijašević help the Balić family rebuild their house after a fire

After the roof of the Balić family's house in the Bihać local community of Gata burned down in a fire and the rest of the building suffered significant material damage, the Gata Local Community Council together with the neighbors engaged on Saturday morning to repair the damage, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The three-member family was visited in the afternoon by Emdžad Galijašević, the mayor of Bihać, who saw firsthand the extent of the damage caused by the fire.

The locals will help with the urgent renovation of the house, and the city of Bihać will also provide support. The goal is to cover this house as soon as possible and provide the Balić family with a safe roof over their heads.
