(Patria) - The company "Biohazard Coffee" based in New York claims to have made the world's strongest coffee.
Their coffee has 928 milligrams of caffeine per 350-milliliter cup, which is double the recommended daily caffeine intake for an adult, but also much higher than most energy drinks on the world market.
Medical experts recommend that adults consume up to 400 milligrams of caffeine per day, which depends on the type of coffee you drink - it can range from two to ten cups of coffee.
A cup of espresso has a higher caffeine content than regular coffee, but it is usually served in small portions.
For comparison, a 30 to 50 milliliter cup of espresso contains about 30 to 60 milligrams of caffeine, reports Punkufer.
The packaging of Biohazard coffee carries a warning that it contains four times more caffeine than is usually served in New York cafes.
It is based on a type of coffee called Robusta, which generally has a higher caffeine content and is characterized by a bitter, earthy taste.
They add that consuming this coffee can result in excessive productivity, sleepless nights, and a temporary feeling of invincibility.
A 454-gram package of Biohazard ground coffee was sold on Amazon for 19.99 US dollars, or slightly more than 18 euros.
However, due to high interest, it is sold out and currently unavailable for purchase.
