Bijeljina resident killed by electricity in front of his house in Zvornik

(Patria) - A resident of Bijeljina, identified by initials M.S., died yesterday from an electric shock in the yard of his family home in Zvornik.

The Zvornik Police Administration announced that the accident was reported to them yesterday around 3:40 PM.

"Acting on the report, police officers from the Kozluk Police Station, along with members of the Emergency Medical Services of the Public Health Institution Zvornik Health Center, arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of the said person," the statement reads.

An investigation was conducted, and the duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Bijeljina was informed of everything.

"The lifeless body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Republika Srpska in Bijeljina for an autopsy. A report on the measures and actions taken will be submitted to the competent prosecutor's office," the statement added.
