(Patria) - The White House assures that the pier being built by the U.S. military in Gaza will become operational within several weeks.
- It will probably take two to three weeks before we can see aid delivery operations - said White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby for ABC News.
He added that, although food and other supplies will be delivered to Gaza via this pier, it still cannot replace land routes and trucks.
