BIHAMK: Traffic disruptions on several sections, no queues at borders

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to the international cycling race, traffic may be suspended today until 2 PM on the Bijeljina-Brčko-Čelić-Lopare-Ugljevik-Zvornik-Vlasenica section. Drivers on this section are urged to exercise increased caution and follow the instructions of authorized escort personnel.

On the Ljubinje-Trebinje road (on the Ljubinje section towards the turn for Ravno), traffic is suspended every day except Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM due to works. During the suspension, vehicles are redirected to the Stolac-Berkovići-Bileća-Trebinje road, according to the BIHAMK report on road conditions.

Traffic is suspended due to works in the Jasen tunnel, on the Prozor-Jablanica section. Passenger vehicles and smaller trucks use the bypass around the tunnel, while trucks over 7.5 tons (with the exception of buses) are directed to alternative routes: Mostar-Široki Brijeg-Posušje-Tomislavgrad-Kupres-Bugojno and Mostar-Sarajevo-Busovača-Novi Travnik-Bugojno.

Traffic suspension is also in effect in the Vinac tunnel (Jajce-Donji Vakuf), and vehicles on this section use the bypass around the tunnel.

Due to finishing works in the Vranduk tunnel (Zenica-Nemila), vehicles are allowed to pass alternately from 9 PM to 12:30 AM, while traffic through the tunnel is suspended from 12:30 AM to 5 AM. During the suspension, vehicles up to 7.5 tons can use the bypass through the Tetovo settlement, and vehicles over 7.5 tons can use the alternative routes Doboj-Šićki Brod- Sarajevo and Žepče-Zavidovići-Olovo-Sarajevo.

Due to works on the bridge in Reljevo (Jošanica-Rajlovac), as well as on the bridge over the Drina River in Goražde (R-448), traffic is suspended and redirected to alternative routes.

Bridge repair works are underway on the following routes: Jablanica-Mostar (Begića i Begovića bridge), Tarčin-Konjic (near Zukići), Olovo-Semizovac (bridge over Ljubina), Pelagićevo-Srebrenik (in Špionica), as well as at the Blatuša interchange, near Zenica. Traffic is slowed down at these locations.

At border crossings, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes. Entry into Montenegro is not permitted at the Hum border crossing, while entry into Montenegro is possible at the Metaljka border crossing from 7 AM to 7 PM. The Deleuša border crossing is closed due to works.
