BiH in a Global Initiative: Even Louder Applause for Healthcare Workers

(Patria) - Across BiH tonight, precisely at 8 PM, applause erupted for all those who have been fighting the coronavirus pandemic in BiH and the rest of the world for the past few weeks.

Italians recently started something that later became a tradition in other countries battling the coronavirus pandemic.

Namely, forced to stay in quarantine, they decided that the most they could do was to reward everyone fighting the pandemic by applauding them from their windows. The idea quickly became popular, and videos recorded from balconies went viral.

Shortly thereafter, an identical situation could be seen in Spain, then in Croatia, and several other countries.

Last night, for the first time, citizens of BiH decided to reward all healthcare workers in BiH, and tonight they did the same again.

Precisely at 8 PM, they went to their windows and applauded together for all those who contributed to the fight. This was also the case in Sarajevo, where applause and shouts of "bravo, we are with you!" echoed through the neighborhoods.
