PERM, (Patria) - The basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated in Perm by Russia with a score of 70:53, as part of the qualifiers for the World Cup to be held in China next year.
After a dramatic match and a victory against Belgium on Friday in Skenderija, BiH failed to defeat the favored Russians.
The most effective player in the BiH team was Džanan Musa with 26 points. Stipanović added nine points.
On the table, France leads with a 4:0 record, Russia and BiH share the second position with a 2:2 record, while Belgium is last with four losses.
BiH will play its next match against France on June 29 on home ground.
