BiH can export potatoes to the European Union from today

The implementing decision of the European Commission, which declared Bosnia and Herzegovina a country free of potato ring rot, was published today, July 22, in the Official Journal of the European Union, reports the Patria News Agency. 

With the publication of the Decision, the process of issuing permits for Bosnia and Herzegovina to export potatoes to the European Union has been completed, and producers from BiH can now begin exporting.

The European Union welcomes this achievement of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is expected to contribute to increasing BiH's export opportunities, as well as the competitiveness and growth of this sector, with benefits for the entire country and positive effects.
