Bosnia and Herzegovina needs to create a database of agricultural plots, especially those areas that are not cultivated or are not in use. This is one of the directives that BiH needs to fulfill towards the European Union.
BiH has exceptional, fertile agricultural plots, and it is estimated that more than 50 percent of these plots are going to waste, uncultivated. For comparison, in Serbia, only seven percent of arable agricultural areas are not in use.
Federal Minister of Agriculture Šemsudin Dedić said that unused agricultural plots represent a potential for expanding agricultural production, especially organic production, writes NAP.
