Bosnia and Herzegovina has the deadliest roads in the Balkans, according to data from the World Health Organization, which shows that the annual road fatality rate in BiH is almost four times higher than, for example, Germany, reports the Patria News Agency. 

There are many reasons, such as poor roads, lack of traffic culture, and the main reason, according to analysts, is that the state does not invest in traffic safety.

Traffic accidents have become the world's number one killer, and BiH leads among Balkan countries, and even European countries, in the number of fatalities in traffic accidents.

Poor roads in BiH are often the reason why people die in traffic accidents; neither the roads nor the traffic culture in European Union countries can be compared to those in BiH, and there is also human carelessness, disregard for traffic rules, and drunk driving.
