BiH hosts conference of interior and foreign ministers on fight against terrorism

Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Austria are organizing a conference of interior and foreign ministers titled "Shaping Our Common Future" on Friday, 04/07/2017 in Sarajevo. This meeting is a continuation of activities from the conference held in March 2015 in Vienna and the adopted Vienna Declaration – Fight against Violent Extremism and Terrorism.

The aim of the conference is to analyze the measures taken in the past two years, and to plan future steps in the fight against terrorism and radicalism. Representatives from 13 countries from the region and the EU, as well as EUROPOL, OSCE, the non-governmental sector, the academic community, and youth are participating in the conference.  

A bilateral meeting will be held between the Minister of Security of BiH, Dragan Mektić, and the Minister of Interior of Austria, Wolfgang Sobotka.

 

Due to the passage of delegations and participants of the Conference, there will be occasional short-term traffic disruptions in the vicinity of the BiH institutions building.
