BiH will seek in Brussels for our producers to be able to export to Croatia again

Deputy President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, Dr. Bruno Bojić, said at a press conference that in Brussels, in a few days, at a meeting with high representatives of the European Commission and the Directorate for EU Enlargement, they will seek for Bosnian-Herzegovinian producers to be able to export their products to Croatia without hindrance, based on traditional trade that BiH has with Croatia, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Since becoming a member of the European Union in July last year, many Bosnian-Herzegovinian producers have been banned from exporting to Croatia, especially food products of animal origin and other food products, which has reduced the market for BiH producers and caused enormous material damage.

- The criticism from the Report on BiH's non-adherence to the European Union's sanctions against Russia is also incorrect, because BiH's economic interest is to increase exports to all available markets - stated Bojić.

- For BiH's potential participation in sanctions, no compensation has been offered to us by the EU in return; on the contrary, there is a threat of increased imports of products from the EU at unrealistically low prices into BiH, specifically those products that can no longer be placed on the Russian market. Therefore, BiH is again expected to act to its own detriment, without any compensation or reciprocal benefit - added Bojić, reports NAP.
