BiH could be an entry ticket to the European market for Indian companies

Bosnia and Herzegovina is keen to cooperate with India to improve bilateral relations between the two countries and develop infrastructure, it was highlighted at a session of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, telegraphindia.com reported, citing the BiH news agency Patria.

The session was attended by the BiH Ambassador to India, Sabit Subašić, at the invitation of the Chamber. BiH has developed capacities in wood processing, textiles, leather, agriculture and food industry, pharmaceutical production, education and tourism, which can be potential areas for investment by Indian companies.

The current trade exchange between these two countries amounts to 30 million dollars. As Ambassador Subašić pointed out, he hopes that BiH will be a member of the European Union within the next five years.

- BiH could be an entry ticket to the European market, which is very lucrative, for Indian companies - said Subašić.
