(Patria) - US President Joe Biden spoke with his election opponent in November, Donald Trump, a White House official said, after the former president was injured in a shooting at a campaign rally, US media reported.
The White House official did not say what the two discussed.
Earlier, Biden said he hoped to speak with Trump.
Biden also spoke with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and the mayor of Butler, where the attack occurred, Bob Dandoy, the White House announced.
