US President Joe Biden confused the name of his Vice President Kamala Harris and his Republican rival Donald Trump on Thursday, Reuters reported.
"Look, I wouldn't have chosen Vice President Trump as Vice President if she wasn't qualified to be President. So start there," Biden said in response to a Reuters question about his confidence in Harris.
This happened hours after Biden called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "President Putin".
"Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin," Biden said at the NATO summit in Washington, eliciting a sigh from those in the room before correcting himself.
US President Joe Biden stated on Thursday that there is no reason for him to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin at this time unless the Russian leader changes his behavior.
Biden told a solo press conference concluding the NATO summit that "Putin has a problem" because Russia has not been successful in its two-and-a-half-year war against Ukraine.
"I have no good reason to talk to Putin right now," Biden said.
