Biden will veto aid bill for Israel if it does not include aid for Ukraine

(Patria) - US President Joe Biden would veto a bill on funding Israel without support for Ukraine and border security, according to a statement from the White House, specifically the Office of Management and Budget, as reported by TASS.

"If HR 7217 (the bill on aid to Israel) were presented to the president, he would veto it," the statement said.

"The administration strongly encourages both houses of Congress to reject this political stunt and instead quickly send the bipartisan National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act for emergency needs to the president's desk," the White House said.

"The administration strongly opposes this gimmick that does nothing to secure the border" and does nothing to help Ukraine, it added.
