(Patria) - US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that his administration advocates for a ceasefire in Gaza and that it is possible that Saudi Arabia and Israel could normalize relations, reported Reuters.
The United States will "make another push, with Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Israel, and others, to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza," Biden said.
Biden also wants hostages to be released and for the war to end with Hamas out of power.
Biden commented on this when he announced a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon at the White House.
He added that the US "remains prepared to conclude a series of historic agreements with Saudi Arabia, which include a security pact and economic guarantees, along with a credible path to establishing a Palestinian state and full normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel."
