Bičakčić: SDA's reaction is logical, Cerić is the best choice for the BiH Presidency!

I absolutely support the candidacy of Dr. Mustafa Cerić for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, because he has references and a reputation far greater than all other candidates, stated Edhem Bičakčić, former federal prime minister and president of the Bosniak People's Party (BHNS), for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

This party, as he says, has registered for elections at all levels of government, except for the member of the BiH Presidency. In this race, Bičakčić expects to support Cerić and mobilize other parties to do the same.

- We need changes, and it has been shown that the policies of Zlatko Lagumdžija, Bakir Izetbegović, and Sulejman Tihić cannot profile or define that. Dr. Cerić has the references and the ability to build a policy in the interest of the state, to open European paths for us, and at the same time build bridges with rich and friendly Islamic countries – emphasizes Bičakčić.

Commenting on the reaction of the Party of Democratic Action, which assessed that Cerić's candidacy is not good for Bosniaks, Bičakčić says he would like to see arguments for such claims.

- This is the usual reaction of the competition, and it is normal for them to be against it. But, I would like to see the elaboration on why it is bad for Bosniaks, because there are no arguments for that. On the contrary – emphasizes Bičakčić for the agency Patria.
