BH Telecom paid about 2 billion KM to the FBiH budget from 2006 to 2014

The business year 2015 was extremely dynamic and significant for the company BH Telecom. Besides management changes, several parallel and extremely complex processes were carried out in the company, it was highlighted today at a press conference where the results of the work in the past year were presented, writes the Patria News Agency.

As highlighted, during 2015, the company constantly innovated its service offerings and reduced service prices in domestic and international traffic several times. Alongside all these processes and activities, the company worked maximally to reduce costs.

BH Telecom finished 2015 with a total of 2,252,493 users. BH Telecom's gross profit for 2015 amounts to 89.8 million KM, which is 1.6 million KM higher gross profit compared to 2014. Amortization for 2015 amounts to 124.3 million KM, which is 4.6 million KM higher than in 2014.

The conclusion is that EBITDA in 2015 amounts to 209.8 million KM, which is 7.5 million KM higher than in 2014. Therefore, the company's value also increased by approx. 50 million KM in the previous year. It is important to note that the highest EBITDA was in 2006, after which it recorded a constant decline until last year, i.e., 2015, when a new growth occurred.

BH Telecom paid about 2 billion KM to the FBiH budget from 2006 to 2014 based on dividends, VAT, pension and disability insurance contributions, health insurance, unemployment, profit tax, as well as donations and sponsorships.

Specifically, in the mentioned period, dividends were paid to the owner, i.e., the Government of FBiH and minority shareholders, in the amount of 991.7 million KM. Based on VAT, the amount of 427.9 million KM was paid, and a total amount of 416.6 million KM was paid for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment contributions. Profit tax in the amount of 139.8 million KM was paid, almost 13 million KM was donated to various non-profit organizations, and through sponsorship arrangements, the most significant sports, cultural, humanitarian, and scientific activities were supported in the amount of about 40 million KM.
