Bosnian strawberry growers are satisfied with the season so far. Strawberry harvesting is underway on plantations across the country, writes Patria.
Bosnian farmers produced around 12 thousand tons of berries last year, ranking BiH among the more serious producers in Europe and beyond. Also, high-quality strawberries are grown in BiH, which is why the entire harvest most often ends up on the demanding European market.
Interestingly, high-quality Bosnian strawberries end up on the shelves of European supermarkets, while BiH imports tons of strawberries of questionable origin during that time, writes NAP.
