BH Gas to Meet with Croatian Transport Company Plinacro

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - As part of a series of activities from both the East and the West, specifically from our neighbors, concerning the development of the gas sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the transport of natural gas to the Federation of BiH, BH-Gas is organizing a press conference to be held on Thursday, 09.11.2017 at 12:00 PM at the BH-Gas premises, it was announced by the state company.

As announced, the public will be informed on this occasion about the results of the talks that BH-Gas will have with the Croatian transport company Plinacro, about changes in the gas transport regime through Serbia and the demands of Srbijagas for a drastic increase in transport prices, which, according to the company, is of interest to citizens, industrial entities, and all those who use natural gas in BiH.

In the municipality of Bosanski Brod, a Protocol for the realization of the project "Supply of natural gas to the Brod Oil Refinery" was recently signed, which would come to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Croatia.

The agreement was signed by the entity minister of industry, energy, and mining of RS, Petar Đokić, and the minister of environmental protection and energy of the Republic of Croatia, Tomislav Ćorić, and the entity Prime Minister Željka Cvijanović was also present in Brod.

BH Gas warns that no one has contacted the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding this project, and that in the event the Refinery actually receives gas in this manner, the Federation would be left without the possibility of connecting to natural gas from Croatia, as there would be no technical possibility for consumers from this BiH entity to connect to the same pipeline.
