BH GAS Bečarević wrote to Džindić: You are destroying a public company for Russian interests!

(Patria) - Almir Bečarević, advisor to the director of BH Gas, has filed a new report regarding the commission of a criminal offense and acts of corruption.

"I am submitting this in accordance with Article 18 of the Law on Public Enterprises. The actions I am describing and the pressures I have been enduring for years have their genesis in the knowledge of gas issues that were supposed to be exploited for criminal activities. I DID NOT WANT TO. What more does a person have to do in this country for someone to react, I don't understand. What more needs to be done for brutal lies not to be the rule of conduct. I am submitting this to everyone, so do as you wish," stated Almir Bečarević.

We are publishing the report in which Bečarević addresses Minister Nermin Džindić in its entirety.

Reporting unlawful conduct. If any related person becomes aware of any information that they believe constitutes evidence of a material violation of the law, regulations, guidelines, or rules applicable to the public enterprise, that related person is obliged to report that information to the supervisory board, the assembly, the director, and other competent authorities. From the previous provision, I derive the legal basis to publicly file a criminal complaint and to publicly accuse you of all the lies and untruths you utter and with which you mislead the public.

GAS HAS BECOME MORE EXPENSIVE AND YOU KNOW IT

The last price at which Russian Gazprom Export invoiced gas via the old supply route was USD 145 (March 2021). In April 2021, Energoinvest invoices gas (re-invoices) at a price of USD 183. If necessary, we will recalculate the amounts and gas prices from the invoices publicly and on camera.

The last price at which gas was invoiced to industrial consumers in March (old supply route) was USD 260. In July, Energoinvest invoices gas to industrial consumers at over USD 342. Your statement from March 17, 2021, given on the show Odgovorite ljudima:

“Nermin Džindić, Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, when asked if gas delivered via TurkStream would be cheaper, says it would be, by 20%.”

If gas from TurkStream was supposed to be 20% cheaper and if the price of gas for industry has increased by USD 80, this means that gas has become more expensive by USD 130 in one month. We have all this in the invoices, and since Energoinvest does not want to submit them to the FBiH Parliament, I am now publicly announcing the biggest deception in the energy sector in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Furthermore, you state that BH-Gas did not accept to be the system operator and that it has strange and indicative relations with the Hungarian transporter.

I am now publicly releasing a letter from Energoinvest addressed to you personally and will quote only one part:

“Energoinvest and BH-Gas have signed Agreements with companies that transport natural gas through Hungary and Serbia, obliging them to transport the contracted quantities through these transport companies within the duration of the gas transport Agreement, i.e., until December 31, 2023. In case of non-compliance with these Agreements, penalties are foreseen, determined by a scale that lists each year individually until the expiration of the Agreement. The penalties are in millions of USD.” From this part of the letter, it is clear that BH-Gas has no strange relationship; rather, Energoinvest is informing you about a termination clause amounting to USD 23 million. You have left the obligations from previous agreements to BH-Gas, which we are paying and have paid these companies KM 3,000,000, and by the end of the year, another KM 5,500,000 will be paid BECAUSE ENERGOINVEST HAS NOT TERMINATED THE AGREEMENTS.

So, you give Energoinvest verbal consent on December 30, 2020, to sign TurkStream, and then you ask me to do an analysis of the TurkStream – old supply route. BH-Gas sends you a document stating that TurkStream is more expensive and that agreements on the old supply route remain open, and you are now giving interviews saying that gas will not become more expensive. Gas has become more expensive and will become even more expensive because the price for industry will increase to USD 400 by the first quarter of 2022. The fact that the price for distribution companies has not increased is only to amortize Energoinvest's demands for a gas price increase, which Energoinvest has announced through the media. It is only a question of how long they will hold out, and I can predict that for you too.

Furthermore, it is a notorious lie that the gas transport tariff in Serbia is KM 35.61 and that the tariff for BH-Gas was determined based on that tariff. The tariff for BH-Gas was determined by an ESTIMATE METHOD, and if Sarajevogas were to lease capacities through Serbia now, it would pay approximately KM 100/1000 Sm3 for that transport. YOU ARE DESTROYING A PUBLIC COMPANY FOR THE INTERESTS OF RUSSIAN CAPITAL BECAUSE YOU WANT THE ONLY COMPANY THAT COULD REALIZE THE SOUTHERN INTERCONNECTION TO BE SO WEAKENED THAT YOUR PLAYERS THEN TAKE THE PLACE OF BOTH ENERGOINVEST AND RUSSIAN GAS BECOMES OUR ONLY OPTION.

If everything is so honest and noble, why don't you submit the invoices from Gazprom Export and Energoinvest and the invoices to industry, from which everything will be clearly visible? Furthermore, you state in the media that BH-Gas did not submit the Business Plan for 2021 to the Company Assembly. HOW WOULD IT BE SUBMITTED WHEN THE SUPERVISORY BOARD DID NOT CONSIDER THAT PLAN AT ALL, AND THE PROOF AND INVITATION TO THE SESSION ARE ATTACHED. After that, we asked again in March, and the plan was still not considered. WHAT IS THIS IF NOT PLANNED DESTRUCTION OF THE COMPANY AND A BRUTAL LIE TOLD ON BHT TELEVISION.

Finally, you are now preparing for the dismissal of Mr. Salkić and will demand that we be thrown out on the street because your intentions have been exposed. Now you are making excuses by saying that gas has not become more expensive, so if it hasn't, why didn't you order the price for citizens to be reduced by 20%? Every ordinary citizen sees the arsenal of crime you possess, including your claims that you obtained a master's degree from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo. You neither obtained a master's degree nor are you a master's student; you are a participant in the last MBA generation, and that was 15 years ago. A person who does not write where they were born in their biography (biography on the FBiH Government website) is only proof of their state of mind and readiness for anything.

YOU HAVE NEVER DENIED BEING IN THE GROUP OF PEOPLE (YOU WANT THE HOTEL WHERE THEY SLEPT) WHO OFFERED BRIBERY TO WHOMEVER THEY COULD JUST TO HAND OVER INDUSTRIAL CONSUMERS. I did not want to finish that job for you, and I reported you, and then you came to threaten me. Now you will threaten all of us who do not want to play as you whistle. Do not force me to start with information about the first of your fences, because you have spread crime to unprecedented levels.

Do not force me to go further, AND I HOPE THAT SOMEONE WILL FURTHER VERIFY EVERYTHING I HAVE WRITTEN BECAUSE RESPIRATORS ARE A SMALL CHILD COMPARED TO WHAT HAS BEEN DONE IN GAS. You have the statement of the director in the media that this is a bigger affair than respirators, and here is only part of the evidence attached.
