BH Bloc: We welcome the start of the investigation in the Sarajlić and others case

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Regarding the launch of an investigation on suspicion that Asim Sarajlić, Sabahudin Delić and Muhamed Šehović committed the criminal offense of abuse of influence, the BH Bloc issued a statement. We remind that the leaders of the BH Bloc, Predrag Kojović and Nermin Nikšić, were the ones who filed a criminal complaint against the aforementioned three in March of this year.

“Although SDA tried hard to overshadow this abuse of influence case with various scandals, they did not succeed. Neither the public nor the judicial authorities have forgotten about it.

We remind that Asim Sarajlić, with the approval of the SDA leadership, resigned from all positions in the party, thereby admitting the authenticity of the recording, which is one of the key pieces of evidence in this case. By doing so, they also admitted Sarajlić's political compromise. Despite this, Asim Sarajlić remained an SDA delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, thus showing that the party, while trying to protect its own reputation, does not care about the country's reputation because it firmly stands behind such officials at the state level.

Also, Bakir Izetbegović himself tried to minimize this criminal offense in public.

Considering all other scandals, which occurred both before and after, there is no doubt that SDA engages in more criminal than state-building activities.

Therefore, we welcome the start of the investigation and wish for the swiftest possible judicial epilogue of this case and for the truth, which we all know, to be given legal legitimacy,” stated the BH Bloc.
