BH Bloc: BiH's NATO path is unquestionable

(Patria) - The Bosniak-Herzegovinian bloc remains firm in its commitment that the NATO path is unquestionable, and that membership in the NATO alliance is a guarantee of Bosnia and Herzegovina's security.

The BH bloc will give full support and votes in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina for all laws and decisions that bring our country closer to the NATO alliance.

We remind that the SDP's former Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zekerijah Osmić, did a lot during his term to bring BiH closer to NATO membership. Osmić made the greatest progress in the process of registering the property of the Armed Forces of BiH to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BH bloc's stance on the NATO alliance is unchanging, and in the coming months, we will see if the stance of the Bosniak segment (a name Izetbegović assigned to the SDA-DF bloc) will change.

The DF, by its own will, decided to enter into a coalition with the HDZ and SNSD as part of the Bosniak bloc, instead of acting in opposition through the BH bloc. Their anger because, not even three months after the decision to enter government was made, they haven't received even a seat at the negotiating table, but are waiting for crumbs served by the head of the Bosniak bloc, Bakir Izetbegović, should not be directed towards the BH bloc, but towards their partners from the SDA, from whom they have clearly received the task to attack the BH bloc. 

"We call on the DF not to confirm the publicly present opinion with such and similar statements towards the opposition that their only task in the ruling coalition is to dismantle the civic option.

We repeat, our votes for the EU and NATO path are unquestionable. Can you gentlemen from the DF guarantee yours, or will you again wait for instructions from the SDA headquarters?", state the BH bloc.
