Bernardica Juretić "in debt like Greece": Former nun has over 200,000 euros in loans

Croatian government minister Bernardica Juretić has submitted her asset declaration, stating a gross monthly income of 26,721 kuna, which would amount to a net monthly salary of 15,188 kuna, reports the Patria news agency.

Juretić has two open loans, both with Erste Bank, both taken out in 2010. For the first loan, for which she pays as much as 1,209 euros per month, Juretić owes the bank 185,787 euros, while for the second, for which she pays 348 euros per month, Juretić owes the bank 30,000 euros. Thus, the minister spends slightly less than 12,000 kuna per month on servicing both loans.

Regarding real estate, Juretić owns a 64-square-meter apartment in Zagreb, valued at 1,101,365 kuna.

In addition, Juretić owns a 15-square-meter garage valued at 113,705 kuna, and another small room of 4 square meters worth 37,900 kuna.

The new minister of social care does not own any movable property, and among her assets, shares in HT (Hrvatski Telekom) should be noted. Juretić owns 6 shares, each worth 120 kuna. Juretić is also the owner of the company "Bernardica s vama j.d.o.o.", writes Index. Juretić is a former nun.
