(Patria) - The ninth edition of the "Mirdita, dobar dan" festival in Belgrade was officially interrupted due to a bomb threat. All visitors and participants were asked to leave the Center for Cultural Decontamination for 15 minutes so that the police could conduct checks.
"We will evacuate the facility, the police will check everything for 15 minutes as is in accordance with the regular procedure, and after that, we will return and enjoy the performance," Sofija Todorović from the Youth Initiative for Human Rights told reporters. The festival was officially supposed to open with the play "Stiffler".
An hour before visitors arrived today, the police conducted a preventive check for a planted bomb, reports N1.
At the same time, a group of protesters appeared in front of the Center for Cultural Decontamination with a banner reading "No Surrender" over the Serbian coat of arms.
