Begić: Are too few of us left in the pits? Why ignore court rulings and religious-based racism?

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Member of the Democratic Front in the State Parliament, Zlatan Begić, addressed social networks regarding the re-expressed intention to impose discriminatory provisions of the BiH Election Law.

"Diplomacy is not unconditional appeasement and adoration of foreign ambassadors, bureaucrats, etc. Politics is also not that! Furthermore, what has been established by court rulings cannot and cannot be a matter of diplomacy - from those establishing genocide and the War Crimes Court, to those of the European Court establishing serious human rights violations and existing apartheid in BiH," Begić stated.

The evident disregard for all of this by Western centers of power, he adds, is not a failure of domestic diplomacy, but an indication - diplomatically speaking - of elementary rudeness, and frankly speaking - of the modern barbarism of the Western world, religious intolerance/Islamophobia, apartheid policy in BiH (since before Dayton and then according to Dayton), increasingly open modern religious-based racism (with medieval roots) and double standards that are, unfortunately, deeply rooted in the Western world - as the case of BiH clearly shows.

"All of this has long surpassed simple hypocrisy; this is a much higher level of disorder in the value system. So, gentlemen from the West, why is democracy not for the people of BiH? Why do some count more, and others less, by birth? Which ones are yours, and which are not? How do you determine that? Are there too few of us left in the pits, according to your taste? We know the answer to each of these questions, but we finally want to hear it from you. For history...", Begić stated.
