Bećirović: The US is a proven friend and ally of BiH

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović, on the occasion of US F-16 fighter jets flying over the airspace of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated:

"The United States of America (US) is a proven friend and ally of the state of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, which continuously provides support for the stability, security, and economic
progress of our country.

The flyover of American aircraft took place in the airspace of the state of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, and it is a friendly gesture supported by the vast majority of citizens of Bosnia and
Herzegovina. As a member of the BiH Presidency, I publicly thank the US for all that it has done and continues to do for the peace and security of all citizens and peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The flyover of US F-16 "Fighting Falcons" fighter jets and KC-135 stratotankers clearly demonstrates the US commitment to the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the US dedication to strengthening peace, security, and a better future for our
country.

In this way, the US has once again confirmed the strong and unbreakable friendship and
partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the US."
