Bećirović wrote to Dačić: 14 reasons Serbian officials gave for the revision of the verdict

State representative Denis Bećirović (SDP BiH) sent an open letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, regarding his frequent threats to the state of BiH concerning its inalienable right to initiate a revision procedure of the verdict before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

Mr. Dačić,

It is high time you ended the inappropriate, reckless and malicious campaign against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The spokespersons of the policy and regime of Slobodan Milošević are the last people on the planet who can and have the right to object to anything to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You still have not established the full truth and responsibility regarding the criminal unit of the Serbian Ministry of Interior, the "Scorpions," which brutally killed and filmed murders on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

You have not established the responsibility of other military and police units from Serbia that sowed death and destruction during the aggression against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. You have not learned a lesson from the fact that, by the verdict of the highest court of the United Nations, you were designated as the only state in Europe that violated (on three grounds of responsibility) the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Therefore, I want to ask you, Mr. Dačić, where do you get any right, with such heavy burdens, to meddle in the internal affairs of the sovereign and independent state of Bosnia and Herzegovina?

It is high time you left the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina alone. Stop the already seen and disastrous Greater Serbian policy. Stop such destructive policy also for the sake of the citizens of Serbia, who, like the citizens of other states, need decades of peace after the regime of Slobodan Milošević led them into barbaric and conquest wars against their neighbors and compatriots.

Mr. Dačić,

The initiation of the revision procedure of the verdict of the International Court of Justice in The Hague was most worked on by Serbian officials. How? I will list for you, among others,

14 REASONS THAT YOU, SERBIAN OFFICIALS, GAVE FOR THE REVISION OF THE VERDICT:

-You did not respect the entirety of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of BiH,
-You continuously undermined the state bodies and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
-You insolently denied the verdict of the International Court of Justice from 2007,
-You continued the policy of denial and negation of the planetarily proven genocide,
-You refused in the Assembly of Serbia to recognize the committed genocide through a declaration,
-You legalized the criminal Chetnik movement that committed crimes and genocide,
-You publicly disputed and denied the final and binding decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH,
-You openly supported and encouraged anti-Bosnian and war-mongering statements and actions of certain politicians in the Bosnian entity of RS,
-You did not respect the principle of sovereign equality of UN member states,
-In the Assembly of Serbia, you adopted the "Strategy for Preserving and Strengthening Relations between the Motherland and the Diaspora and the Motherland and Serbs in the Region," in which you outlined, as in the worst times of Slobodan Milošević, to once again unlawfully interfere in the internal relations of the sovereign state of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
-You anti-Daytonly denied in official acts of the Assembly of Serbia the final arbitration verdict regarding the status of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
-As the greatest foreign policy success of Serbia in 2015, you declared the halting of the adoption of the Resolution on Genocide in the Security Council, thereby once again showing that you do not respect the victims of genocide.
-You still hide the truth about what Ratko Mladić was doing in Belgrade on July 14, 1995, whom he reported to and about what, and what instructions he received from Belgrade?
-You still hide the archives and minutes of the Supreme Defense Council of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Also, by order of the participants of those sessions, there were no stenographic records of 17 sessions, nine of which were held before and after the Srebrenica genocide. Why, finally, do you not tell the truth about who edited the minutes of the sessions?

 

Mr. Dačić,

You have no right to dispute Bosnia and Herzegovina's use of the instruments of international law and to seek justice and truth before the court of the United Nations. Do not waste energy on obstructing justice and truth. It is much better that you finally bury conquest dreams and hegemonic policies. Come to your senses and help people in both Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to breathe freely and open an era of peace, respect, and progress for all people, regardless of their nation or religion. Truth and justice on that path can only help us.
