Bećirović: Youth from TK Gain First Work Experience in Iraq and Afghanistan!

Damir Bećirović, member of the Presidency of Democratic Front – Željko Komšić and holder of the list for the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH from the areas of Tuzla and Posavina cantons, as well as Brčko District, stated for the news agency Patria that the Municipal Board in Tuzla was dissolved after they learned that there was an organized attempt to undermine the Democratic Front – Željko Komšić in Tuzla.

- What must be emphasized is that these were people sent from the SDP who unfortunately held positions in the party leadership. However, their plan failed, and their intentions to make the Democratic Front – Željko Komšić a marginal party in the Tuzla area were thwarted. Their only goal is to preserve their established public-private affairs, which have been ongoing for years by squandering budget funds, even after the elections. The dismissed board included a couple of individuals who still do not understand what happened, as well as people who recognized the wrong intentions of certain individuals in time and are still in the party structures today – says Bećirović.

He emphasizes that the situation in Tuzla Canton is very bad.

- Tuzla Canton has turned into a canton with over 125,000 unemployed, destroyed economic entities that were once publicly owned, and a canton where young people gain their first work experience in countries like Iraq and Afghanistan. We now have a quasi-expert government that is only further indebting itself and engaging in law violations. This is a government that is a joint project of SDP – SDA and is driving the remaining nails into the coffin of Tuzla Canton. Such a situation can only be changed by radical cuts and, perhaps it sounds harsh, by forcing employees of institutions, primarily those working in prosecutor's offices and courts, to finally start doing their jobs – added Bećirović.
