(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović spoke with Sabri Demir, chief advisor to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the Balkans.
They discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and the strengthening of relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey.
Demir conveyed to Bećirović greetings from the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his message that the Republic of Turkey firmly supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, he emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina can count on strong support from the friendly Republic of Turkey in the coming period.
During the cordial conversation, the importance of strengthening political, economic and other ties between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey was highlighted.
Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović thanked President Erdoğan and the Republic of Turkey for their continuous support to our country.
Also, he recalled the friendly conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan last Saturday, during which he pointed out the seriousness of the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely the fact that the leadership of the RS entity threatens peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
The interlocutors agreed that the intensive dialogue between Ankara and Sarajevo should continue.
