Bećirović: Four years of dedication to workers' rights, NATO, and the EU are coming!

At the final pre-election rally of the Social Democratic Party of BiH held today in Bihać, Denis Bećirović, candidate for the BiH Presidency member, told a large number of gathered citizens that workers' rights and economic recovery, as well as accession to NATO and the EU, must be absolute priorities for the new government: "I want to say that the time is coming when our country will focus on achieving its strategic goals.

Domestically, this means protecting workers, increasing their income, and strengthening the private sector by relieving them of burdens and supporting exports. Internationally, it means accession to NATO and the EU, and there are no negotiations on this. I am telling our neighbors, who have been 'concerned' about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina more than enough in the last four years, that their uninvited interference in the internal affairs of our country must end. All those who wish to help us on our Euro-Atlantic path are welcome, including our neighbors, but they must know that this is our path, which we define and lead, not a space for others to interfere and promote their own interests at the expense of our citizens and our country.

We will complete our path to NATO and the EU either with the cooperation of our neighbors or despite their obstructions. It is up to them to decide whether to cooperate or obstruct. Whatever the case, I tell them that we will successfully complete our path!"

Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP BiH, said: "For more than a year, we have been touring our country, talking to our people, and listening to them. The result is our Plan 10, in which we have gathered all the key problems that citizens have pointed out, and in cooperation with domestic and international experts, we have offered clear and concrete solutions.

SDP BiH does not need to promise people that we will start rebuilding the country and relations among people. We are already doing it! We have both the plan and the people for it. The SDP BiH network already extends from Banja Luka, Doboj, Prijedor, Srebrenica, through Sarajevo, Bihać, Goražde, and Mostar, all the way to Grude and Livno.

We are the only ones across the country who have people of all nationalities who proudly identify as SDP members and who fight for one, united Bosnia and Herzegovina, one country for all of us! In two days, we will put that network into operation for the renewal of our country, the renewal of the devastated economy and state institutions. In two days, we will take responsibility to continue where we were stopped four years ago. We will take responsibility at all levels, and our people in state institutions will be led by our member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović!"

Speakers also included Fatka Kulenović, president of GO SDP Bihać and candidate for the USK Assembly, Hajrudin Havić, president of KO SDP USK and candidate for the USK Assembly, Muhidin Šertović, SDP's list leader for the USK Assembly, Albin Muslić, SDP's list leader for the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, and Enes Eminić, SDP's list leader for the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.

The speakers urged the gathered citizens to choose a future based on real solutions and gradual but certain societal renewal by voting for SDP BiH and Denis Bećirović, instead of the empty phrases of the ruling nationalists, who have only brought ruin and emigration from the country.
