(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović sent congratulations to the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mark Rutte on his appointment as NATO Secretary General:
"Your Excellency,
Dear Mark,
On behalf of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in my own name, I have the exceptional honor and pleasure to extend to you our sincerest congratulations on your appointment as NATO Secretary General.
On this occasion, I also thank you for the warm welcome and constructive conversation we had during my recent visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Your deep understanding of the political, economic, and security situation, as well as the current challenges facing Bosnia and Herzegovina, represents a valuable contribution to preserving stability, peace, and prosperity in Europe and the world. I greatly appreciate your support for the European and Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which you also expressed during your visit to Sarajevo.
Determined to become a full member of NATO, Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to build strong relations with all partner countries and contribute to strengthening security in Southeast Europe.
I wish you much success in performing this responsible duty, with the conviction that your leadership will further strengthen our common security and cooperation.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration."
