Bečarević voluntarily gave a statement to the police: Krmpotić is the main cause of the arbitration in Zurich!

(Patria) - Officers of the Financial Police have been staying at the headquarters of the company BH-Gas for several weeks, where they are seizing documentation related to alleged malversations by previous managements during the time of Jasmin Salkić and Almir Bečarević, the media reported, which was confirmed by the current director of BH-Gas, Mihajlo Krmpotić.

The focus of the problems that arose after the unilateral termination of the contract with the Hungarians is being attempted to be shifted in this way with a story about alleged malversations by the former management, but Almir Bečarević in a statement to Patria emphasizes that he voluntarily appeared this morning and gave a statement on all these circumstances, and that this information is not new, because the Financial Police have been in BH-Gas for three months.

„I understand Krmpotić's fear, who does not provide the correct documents and did not explain that he is the main cause of the arbitration in Zurich because he did not pay three invoices. The Financial Police are reviewing all contracts with the Hungarians since 1998, reviewing everything that Energoinvest has signed since the New Year. They are looking for all the documents we sent to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And today I requested and will file criminal charges and will give a direct statement with all evidence of the malversations that Krmpotić wants to hide. Now they are pulling this out as news, because today I voluntarily came and gave a statement regarding the Hungarian contract and Annex 85“, said Bečarević.

We remind you that the Hungarian gas transporter company FGSZ, with which the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina still has a valid contract for the transport of gas to Bosnia and Herzegovina, has sued Energoinvest, BH-Gas and the Government of the Federation and is seeking compensation of 21.1 million US dollars.

Mihajlo Krmpotić, the director who succeeded Salkić at BH-Gas, did not pay three advances to the company FGSZ, with which the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has a contract for the supply of gas to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina until the end of 2022.

Incidentally, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina could very easily lose this dispute because the route through Ukraine and Beregovo is still operational, and this is an argument in favor of the Hungarian company, which supplied the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with gas via this route for years and had a valid contract with the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina until the end of next year.

The relevant minister Nermin Džindić justified the switch to the "Turkish Stream" with a lower gas price, but that never happened, and in the meantime he changed his story, saying that gas will become more expensive from the New Year, and significantly so.

Bečarević again addressed the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office with a letter asking whether the game of people destroying the supply chain of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with gas is enough?

"Do you want to accept that all this has been reported to you and forwarded to you from the Federal Prosecutor's Office for competent action with all statements and announcements of what will happen given to the FUP", asked Bečarević.
