Bečarević categorical: You are looking for millions of KM in budgets, gas prices will only rise

For months and weeks, I have been listening to how gas from the TurkStream will first become 25% cheaper, and then I listen to justifications why gas should become more expensive. I hear this from people who stole gas in Reljevo and whose cases have been formed in the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo. They stole 1,000,000 KM in gas and have now become experts on gas prices. Those who until yesterday had no idea what gas was now know how the price is formed, they just didn't know in March 2021 that gas would increase by 40% and that it would continue to rise up to 100% compared to the wholesale price of gas of 485 KM.

In the Canton of Sarajevo, there have been no restrictions in gas supply since 1980 (except for 3 days during the Ukrainian crisis) for Toplane Sarajevo, and now we have witnessed Toplane Sarajevo switching to fuel oil, and new restrictions are being announced because dilettantes do not know how to procure sufficient quantities of gas.

Dilettantes are hiding the fact that a new increase in gas prices will occur again in April (if Europe's energy sector does not collapse), and another possible and realistic one already in June. The "experts" concluded an annex with Gazprom export until the end of May because they tied us to the elections in Serbia, and during that time, negotiations will be held on a new pricing formula linked to gas exchanges, where the price of gas to Bosnia and Herzegovina should skyrocket according to exchange prices.

The entire FBiH and Canton of Sarajevo can strain tens of millions of KM in subsidies, but they will not be able to stop this increase in gas prices.

The increase in price and restriction in gas supply was caused by the switch to TurkStream, which is why the then management of BH-Gas did not want to sign such a switch without any analysis of the switch to TurkStream. We did not want it because of Russian capital and the slavery that TurkStream entails.

Now their justification is that the price of gas in Turkey has increased by 50%. The price of gas in Turkey, which is among the 3 cheapest gas prices in all of Europe. Is Turkey limited to 1.2 million Sm3 per day in gas supplies?

These are idiocies of unprecedented proportions.

It has been a year now that I have been announcing the increase in gas prices, restrictions in supply, and changes in the pricing formula. The relevant minister in the Canton of Sarajevo has been listening to lies from Energoinvest for months and yesterday he was sweating on one of the televisions trying to explain something for which he is not really to blame. They are serving him a story from the beginning of 2021, and now he is looking for money for subsidies, but they now amount to tens of millions of KM, not 5 million KM, which was the subsidy for November and December last year alone.

The Canton of Sarajevo is seeking a gas price structure, the same one that the Energy Committee of the FBiH Parliament is seeking. This committee has never received it from Energoinvest. BH-Gas has provided that structure, and the price has drastically increased with the switch to TurkStream.

All data is available to the Federal Police Administration and the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, as well as the Financial Police of BiH. The complete structure of the price for switching to TurkStream has been processed by BH-Gas (technical services) and submitted to the Financial Police. The complete file on the termination of the contract with the Hungarian transporter has been given to the Federal Police Administration and the Financial Police. After the termination, arbitration was initiated in Zurich for 21.1 million USD, and who do you think will pay for it and with what money. Who will pay the lawyers and the costs of the proceedings?

All of you reading this should know that everything was known about what would happen with the switch to TurkStream and the termination of the contract with the Hungarian transporter. Everything is described in detail and submitted to the police, the Prosecutor's Office, and the Financial Police. I have been to every institution and given statements about everything that will happen, including the restrictions in gas supply. Everything has happened and everything is happening.

Now I am announcing to the Canton of Sarajevo another gas price increase in April, just as I announced for November and January. You are looking for millions of KM in budgets to cover the catastrophic mistakes made during the switch to TurkStream. You are covering up crime because the institutions are not doing their job.

Finally, I submit this address in accordance with the Law on Financial Management and Control in the Public Sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where every employee has an obligation to report illegalities. We are full of talk about crime, so here is one that we are all paying for with tens of millions of KM. If nothing I am publishing and what we have submitted to the Federal Police Administration is true, then arrest me for publicly lying and disturbing the public. What are you waiting for?
