Baždarević on Džeko: He will be the best striker in Serie A, he just needs a little more time

Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team coach Mehmed Baždarević said he believes that Edin Džeko, the national team captain and Roma striker, will be the best striker in Serie A, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Baždarević, who has been in the position of coach since December 2014, claims that Džeko has all the predispositions to achieve this, he just needs a little more time.

- Džeko will become the best scorer in Serie A - said Baždarević, speaking at a press conference ahead of the friendly match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Luxembourg.
The Bosnian coach believes that Džeko's quality is unquestionable.

- Edin has scored nine goals and he just needs more time - says Baždarević. Džeko has been at Roma since August 2015.

Baždarević reiterated that he has absolute faith in Džeko's abilities and will have my support and that of all of us in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Incidentally, the footballers of Bosnia and Herzegovina are expected to gather by the evening hours in Luxembourg, where they will play a match on March 25 in Zurich.
