Bank that gives Dodik a loan of 300 million dollars registered in a Florida apartment

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated today that Republika Srpska, based on a loan of 300 million dollars from an American investment fund, will be liquid for regular payment of salaries and pensions, reports the Patria news agency.

In the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, a government decision was published according to which Republika Srpska is borrowing 300 million dollars, or about 514 million KM, and the creditor is the American investment fund „Global Bancorp Commodities & Investment“ whose headquarters are at a suspicious location in Florida.

From the Decision on the establishment of Global Bancorp Commodities And Investments Inc., it is evident that the Company issued 60 million shares with a nominal value of 10 USD, meaning the initial capital is 600 million USD.

According to Slovenian portals, Global Bancorp Commodities And Investments Inc. entered the race to purchase Nova kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM), the second-largest bank in Slovenia, in April 2015.

This mysterious bidder appeared only a few days before the privatization deadline, when negotiations for the sale of the Bank had entered the final phase with the two best bidders: Hungary's OTP Bank and the private investment fund Apollo from the USA, which offered 200 million EUR for the takeover of the Bank.

The offer from Global Bancorp Commodities And Investments Inc. for the takeover of Nova kreditna banka Maribor was 250 million EUR for the takeover of the Bank and 100 million EUR for the recapitalization of the Bank. However, the sellers of the bank did not consider it serious because the company was registered in early 2014 in an apartment in Florida, does not even have its own website, nor any information about previous investments, reports BNTV.
