(Patria) - A young police officer from the Banja Luka Police Administration, aged 21, committed suicide on New Year's Eve in the village of Rekavice, near Banja Luka.
According to unofficial sources, he was celebrating New Year's, then came home where he took his own life, writes ATV.
The Banja Luka Police Administration confirmed that the young man committed suicide.
– The police were notified this morning at 8:25 AM that a person had committed suicide in Rekavice. An investigation was conducted at the scene and the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka was informed about everything – said the PU Banja Luka.
The OJT Banja Luka states that the young man, born in 2002, committed suicide by shooting himself with a firearm.
– The investigation determined that there are no elements of a criminal offense in this entire case – states the OJT Banja Luka.
