
(Patria) - In the Banja Luka settlement of Lauš, the investigation has been completed following the murder of a person identified as S.Č. /37/, and the duty prosecutor has ordered an autopsy of the murdered person's body and the collection of evidence from the scene in Karađorđeva Street.
The autopsy will be performed at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Republika Srpska, it was announced by the District Public Prosecutor's Office of Banja Luka.
The statement states that there are grounds for suspicion that forty-seven-year-old Đ.J. from Banja Luka killed S.Č. with a rifle.
The murder occurred at 12:15 PM in the parking lot of a sports equipment shopping center.
After committing the criminal offense, the suspect Đ.J. surrendered to police officers, was apprehended, and is currently undergoing criminal processing, after which he will be taken to the District Public Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
"All necessary investigative actions and measures, as well as expert examinations, will be undertaken with the aim of clarifying the circumstances of the committed criminal offense," the statement reads.
